  19. Hello all!
  20.   I have been monitoring the lightwave mailing list and IRC channels for a
  21. few months now and am very impressed by the knowledge of the people here.  I
  22. am now at a point where I am ready to shell out the money and get my copy of
  23. LightWave.  My question is: I have heard some rumors of a new Lightwave
  24. version that is currently being worked on.  I have been purchasing books and
  25. videos like The FX Kit, LightSpeed and so forth.  Should I wait until this
  26. new version is released or should I get 4.0.  Another thing, will the books
  27. and videos I get now be of any help when the final of the next version is
  28. released?
